Tips for Moms Returning to the Workforce

Morning radio listeners in Atlanta had the opportunity to hear an interview with Cindi Filer this past Monday and Tuesday (October 6 and 7, 2008).  Cindi, the CEO of Innovative Outsourcing, was interviewed on 104.7 The Fish about tips and strategies for women (focused on moms) who want to return to the workforce after being out of the ‘traditional’ labor market for a few years.    Cindy’s advice was spot-on.  To hear the entire interview, I’ve provided the link:

Companies like HR OptIn and Innovative Outsourcing serve a specialized niche on both the client and consultant side.  While we specialize in Human Resources placements and assignments, Innovative Outsourcing tends to focus predominantly on accounting and legal assignments.  The specialty is different; the intent is the same: to provide a vehicle for women to return to the workforce in a flexible manner that serves both the needs of the clients and the employees. During these trying economic times, we are finding more people are looking for options in returning to work.  Our clients continue to seek cost-effective measures for ‘getting it all done’ (apart from the traditional expense and headcount of a permanent, full-time employee).  It’s a real win-win.   And, it’s terrific to see the market respond to this idea of flexible employment across a variety of functions and disciplines.   If you are looking for a position in Human Resources, we invite you to join HR OptIn.  And, if it’s accounting or legal which is your forte, we suggest you check out www.innovative-outsourcing.com.

We welcome your comments.
